Andy Millar

Andy started his musical career at the age of 7 taking violin lessons, this eventually led to achieving grade 6 standard. However, around the age of 9 he got his first guitar and has not put the instrument down since. Andy became a regular performer at various venues and bands around the NorthWest area and achieved an A level in music. He then continued his studies in Kent and went on to achieve a BA Hons Music degree from Canterbury Christ Church University. Andy has played gigs across a variety of genres from a young age, these range from live performances for the BBC, to a full capacity event at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester. Andy is also a full-time music educator teaching over 100 pupils on a weekly basis. Some of Andy’s students are now professional musicians in their own right.
