Glynn has been playing guitar since he was 14 and has had quite a musical journey since then. He’s played professionally on the Mecca circuit and in cabaret bands, including numerous summer seasons, and stints touring British Army bases in Germany in the 80s. He’s also played semi-professionally for 40+ years, clocking hundreds of gigs on the northern pub and club circuit as a solo act, in a duo, and in various bands – including a Toto tribute band. Since hearing Can’t Buy A Thrill back in the early 70s, Glynn has been a devoted fan of Steely Dan. The opportunity to explore their music even further as a member of Steely Don has been a challenging but thoroughly rewarding experience.
